Barbecue comes in many forms — ribs smoked for hours and slathered in sweet and smoky sauce, slow-cooked brisket covered in a flavorful dry rub, juicy pulled pork or shredded chicken perfect for crafting a delicious sandwich topped with slaw. Fortunately, there are plenty of incredible barbecue restaurants found all around the country that offer everyone the chance to dine on classic dishes.

According to a list compiled by LoveFood, the "best barbecue restaurant" in all of Georgia is Wiley's Championship BBQ in Savannah. With "champion" literally in the name, you can bet that this popular spot serves up award-worthy dishes. Wiley's, located at 4700 Highway 80 East, has a 4.4 star rating on Google and nearly 1,400 reviews.

Here's what the site had to say about the best "unmissable" barbecue in the state:

"Pitmaster Wiley McCrary has won numerous competitions over the years — not to mention the hearts of legions of happy diners. Wiley's Championship BBQ is praised for its Redneck Nachos (covered in pulled pork, cheese, and jalapeños), as well as its house-made sauces, juicy beef brisket, and pulled pork. What's more, the servers are always friendly and the food arrives fast."
